Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Rhea Ripley and The Undertaker.
• Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley kicked off tonight’s RAW and came out with her right arm in a sling. Ripley said after Liv Morgan’s attack, she has been told that she’ll be out of action for quite a few months and that she’ll have to vacate her Title. Fans chanted “bullsh*t” and she agreed. Rhea then relinquished the title by putting it down in the ring.
Fans chanted “thank you Mami”. Rhea said this is all because of Liv’s little revenge tour. Rhea called Liv a coward for blindsiding her.
Ripley sent a warning to whoever wins her championship. She said when she returns, she’s coming for blood.
Liv Morgan came out and she’s being stopped by security, but Rhea is ready to fight despite her injury. They took Liv to the back, but Rhea took out one security guard with a headbutt.
Judgment Day members hugged Rhea backstage.

• The Undertaker returned to WWE programming in the main event of WrestleMania 40 – Night 2, where he chokeslammed The Rock during the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.
This spot was originally meant for Stone Cold Steve Austin, but Austin and WWE couldn’t reach a financial agreement, so WWE went with Undertaker instead.
On his Six Feet Under podcast, Undertaker revealed that this spot got officially booked on the day of the match:
“It happened pretty spontaneously. We got to Philadelphia on Wednesday that week. I think I got a call Tuesday from Triple H that said, ‘Hey, a lot of things are going on. A lot of thoughts are being put into this. Would you want to be a part of it?’ I was like, ‘Look if it works and if I can be of help to it in any way. If I could be of help, fine, whatever you guys need. Just let me know.’.
I don’t hear anything else until… Thursday. I get a text from Michael Hayes (saying) we’re coming up with some ideas. I’m like cool, let me know. That was it. Then I’m at the 1 deadMAN Show. I get a text from Paul Heyman. I’m like, hmmm interesting. This is picking up steam here.
It had gone back and forth and I get a text during Sunday.”
Taker also noted that he told Heyman “this isn’t about me” and that if the guys want him involved or not, he’s good either way and it won’t hurt his feelings.
