The Rock assaulted Cody Rhodes last night on RAW.
In the main event of RAW, Jey Uso defeated Shinsuke Nakamura. Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa tried to interfere in this match, but Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins took them out.
After the match, Cody and Jimmy were shown brawling backstage. Cody also took out Solo. Drew McIntyre took out Rollins. The Rock attacked Cody. Rock hit Cody in the head with a trash can while talking trash.
Rock smashed Cody against Cody’s own bus several times and Cody was bleeding from the head. Rock then took out his “Mama Rhodes” weight belt and put Cody’s blood on the belt.
Rock then said Dusty Rhodes talked about Hard Times, but Dusty didn’t face hard times. However, The Final Boss is gonna make sure Cody faces Hard Times at WrestleMania 40.
WWE censored a part of this trash talk from The Rock on LIVE TV. However, they didn’t censor it for the fans in attendance in Chicago.

Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes tweeted:
“He better keep his security detail tight at Mania. That’s all.”
Cody’s sister Teil Rhodes wrote:
“The Rhodes are the blood and bones of American pro wrestling. Rock just made his worst mistake.”
After the show went off the air, WWE posted The Rock’s attack on Cody on YouTube, but surprisingly, the segment was edited, although not for the blood. Instead, WWE chose to freeze-frame the shots where Rhodes was hit in the head with a trash can.
This was done because WWE doesn’t allow wrestlers to hit each other in the head with weapons due to concussion issues, but The Rock and Cody are allowed to do a lot of banned things to make their feud feel special.
