First making a name for himself as “Giant Singh” in India & Japan, Dalip Singh joined the WWE Friday Night SmackDown! roster in 2006 as “The Great Khali” and defeated the legendary Undertaker in his very first PPV match at Judgment Day 2006. He left WWE in 2014, but returned to the company on July 23, 2017 at the Battleground 2017 PPV to help his fellow countryman, Jinder Mahal, to win the Punjabi Prison match (a match that Khali created).
