9. Andrade Proves Himself Against Humberto Carrillo
El Idolo has been on a roll since defeating Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at Madison Square Garden during WWE’s Holiday Tour. He’s been getting constant wins since then.
Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio in a Ladder match last Monday on RAW to end his rivalry with The Master Of The 619. He tried to hit Mysterio with a Hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete floor after the match, but Carrillo made his return to protect Mysterio from the same thing Andrade did to him over a month ago.
Carrillo and Andrade have quite a few wins against each other and will have their biggest encounter this Sunday with the United States Title on the line. Andrade cost Carrillo a US Title opportunity last month, so he has to prove himself against him this Sunday.
It’s likely that Andrade will get his first pay-per-view win as the United States Champion as he is just beginning to establish himself as the champion. In addition, WWE won’t put a Title on Carrillo too soon. Besides, his push has been slowed down a bit as well.
