5. Brock Lesnar’s Next Feud Is Revealed In The Royal Rumble Match
Brock Lesnar will enter the Royal Rumble match as the #1 entrant, and become the fourth reigning WWE Champion to enter the match. The possible reason why he’s entering the match is that WWE wants to set up his feud for WrestleMania 36 during it.
He’s also one of the favourites to win the match, but it’s unlikely that he’ll win, because if he wins, it’ll bring a lot of complications in WWE’s booking of the WWE and Universal Title pictures on the road to WrestleMania.
There are several wrestlers who have the potential to face off against Lesnar, and even eliminate him. The strongest contender to eliminate The Beast Incarnate is currently Cain Velasquez.
Recently in an interview with The Sun, Velasquez confirmed that he’s going to make his Royal Rumble match debut this year. His presence in the match may just be a confirmation of a potential Lesnar-Velasquez altercation we’re going to see.
There’s a possibility that Velasquez may enter at number 2 to surprise Lesnar and take him out. If that doesn’t happen, WWE may go with an angle where Lesnar will be dominating everyone in the match until Velasquez shows up to eliminate him and continue from where they left off last year.
