2. Drew McIntyre Wins The Royal Rumble Match
Many fans have always considered Drew McIntyre “The Chosen One”, but nothing of that caliber has happened in his WWE career yet.
His fortune could change, however, in tonight’s Royal Rumble match. Some consider him a favourite, while some just consider him another wrestler used to hype up the match.
McIntyre’s recent change of attitude could be a hint that WWE is planning to push him as a top babyface on RAW. WWE might shock us by making him win the Royal Rumble match to challenge Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36.
Even though Roman Reigns is highly rumored to win the Royal Rumble match, it doesn’t look like he’ll win this time, due to the fact that he just reunited with The Usos to form The Bloodline.
McIntyre also looks like the only capable one who could be built up as a WrestleMania headliner after Roman Reigns. Besides, Reigns is doing pretty well in the mid-card right now and WWE wouldn’t want to repeat the same mistake they did in 2015.
McIntyre’s passionate promos on RAW over the past couple of weeks may be an indication for a huge babyface run on the road to WrestleMania 36.
