2. CM Punk Returns To The Ring
CM Punk was a top name when he used to wrestle in the WWE, and was quite popular among the fans. However, he got fired in 2014 when he walked out on the company.
After more than 5 years, Punk made his return to WWE programming last month. Although he’s not directly associated with WWE, Punk is still working as an analyst on WWE Backstage.
Punk’s debut on WWE Backstage has reignited the hope of his in-ring return among many fans. It’s pretty ironic that he isn’t signed with WWE currently yet he’s in the five favourite wrestlers who are expected to win the Royal Rumble match, according to the betting odds.
If not during the road to WrestleMania, WWE will surely find a way to bring Punk back in 2020.
