2 Matches Set For AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023

The AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023 pay-per-view will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on June 25th.

Two matches for this event got confirmed at today’s NJPW Dominion PPV.

Will Ospreay defeated Lance Archer in the tournament final to become the #1 contender for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

Ospreay will now face AEW wrestler Kenny Omega for the Title at Forbidden Door.

After Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Tomohiro Ishii) and Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley & ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli) and Shota Umino to retain the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship at Dominik, a promo aired from AEW wrestler Bryan Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan in WWE).

Bryan challenged Okada to a match, and this will take place at Forbidden Door as well.
