– AJ Styles called Undertaker and said he wants to face him at WrestleMania. Taker said he would’ve loved to face him 10-15 years ago and they would’ve tore the house down. Styles then said he should take some time and think about it.
– Undertaker helped the NXT wrestlers by watching their matches and getting in the ring with them.
– Randy Orton recalled his first match with Undertaker, back on SmackDown in 2002. Taker sold a lot for Orton in that match and Vince wasn’t happy with it. Vince questioned what Taker was trying to do and Taker said he was trying to make the kid look good and questioned Vince “isn’t that what we do?”. Orton appreciated what Taker did for him and was happy to return the favour years later.
– Taker trained for a few days at the WWE Performance Center and then agreed to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. Taker then told Vince to pull a rib on AJ and tell him that he has agreed to work WrestleMania, but not against him, and that there’s some other kid from Tennessee that he wants to put over.
– AJ said facing Undertaker at WrestleMania is going to be the biggest match of his career.
– Taker said AJ is the perfect opponent for his final WrestleMania match.
– Taker also noted that he wouldn’t have wrestled another match after Extreme Rules if it wasn’t for AJ.
