– During the shooting of the Boneyard Match, Taker got a call from her niece, where she revealed that her father died due to a heart attack. Taker then got emotional that he’ll have to tell the news of his elder brother’s death to his mother. Taker’s brother passed away a few weeks before WrestleMania, on March 24, which was Taker’s 55th birthday. Tears could be seen in Taker’s eyes during this scene.

– Taker said him riding off on his bike after defeating AJ Styles meant something, as this could be it. Taker thinks this match was damn good and the fans liked it a lot, so it’s hard to top this.

– Taker noted that WrestleMania 36 was a perfect ending to his career 30 year WWE career (and 33 year Pro-Wrestling career).

– At this point, Undertaker has no desire to get back in the ring for another match and is content with him walking away, and is proud of his legacy in wrestling.

– Below is what Taker said about his status as an in-ring performer:

“I believe I’m at a place now, post-Boneyard, which was a hellacious battle against one of the best in the business. Here you are, climbing on your motorcycle and taking off. There was a lot of thought and a lot of emotion, one of those being ‘are you happy enough with that?’ It was a powerful moment. You don’t necessarily always get those. If there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there was it.

If Vince was in a pinch, would I come back? I guess time would only tell there. In case of emergency, break glass, you pull out The Undertaker. I would consider it. At this point in my career, I have no desire to get back in the ring.

I’m at a point, it’s time this cowboy really rides away. There’s nothing left for me to conquer or accomplish. The game has changed. It’s time for new guys to come up. The time just seems right. This documentary has helped me discover that and opened my eyes to the bigger picture and not judge myself as harshly these last few years.”

Team WWF Old School would like to thank The Undertaker for all the memories he has provided to the fans for 3 decades!
