22. The Great Muta
Most of you probably remember this former nWo Japan member from his WCW days, but he’s considered a legend of the business and one of the biggest names in puroresu history.
Even though he’s 54 years old, Keiji Mutoh (as he’s called in Japan) is still a regular full time wrestler for the W-1 WRESTLE-1 promotion.
21. The Godfather / Papa Shango
While WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather has already been a surprise entrant in the 2013 Royal Rumble match, how about his alter ego Papa Shango??
Wouldn’t it be a mark out moment for most of us Old Schoolers, when the next entrant is about to come out and Shango’s voodoo inspired theme song starts playing?
20. Mr. Kennedy
… Kennedy!!!! After leaving TNA iMPACT Wrestling a little while ago, former WWE Superstar Mr. Kennedy now tours the independent scene as a free agent these days.
Wouldn’t that be a true surprise if the mic comes down for him to announce himself as usual? It would certainly bring some relief at a time during the Royal Rumble match when there’s not much action going on in the ring.
19. The Boogeyman
He returned in 2015 and got quite a reaction by the otherwise destructive & complaining Philly crowd that night.
Always worth coming back and eat some worms on PPV, wouldn’t you say? Haha.
