Below are the complete results from tonight’s SmackDown:
– LA Knight kicked off tonight’s SmackDown before Fastlane and was interrupted by Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso. Heyman acknowledged that Knight is going to be the next mega star in WWE.
Jimmy then said they are here to make sure Knight doesn’t make it to Fastlane. John Cena then ran to the ring to even the odds. Knight then challenged Jimmy to a match for later tonight and Jimmy accepted.
– Charlotte Flair & Asuka def. Damage CTRL (Bayley & WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY)
– In a backstage segment, Paul Heyman wasn’t happy about Jimmy Uso agreeing to face LA Knight. Heyman said Jimmy’s needs The Tribal Chief’s authorization to make these decisions. Jimmy then said Roman Reigns needs to be here then. They walked into the locker room and The Judgment Day (with JD McDonagh) was there. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley told everyone but Paul Heyman to leave.
– WWE announced that Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will return on next week’s ‘season premiere’ of SmackDown.
– Bobby Lashley def. United States Champion Rey Mysterio
– Rhea Ripley told Paul Heyman that The Judgment Day and The Bloodline are stronger together. Heyman agreed and said he’s upset with himself for not thinking about this before. Heyman said he’s going to make a phone call to get this idea authorized. Rhea said it is authorized. Heyman said it is authorized from Judgment Day’s side, but The Tribal Chief authorizes it from Bloodline’s side. Rhea told Heyman to acknowledge her. Heyman said Rhea is in the wrong locker room to say that. Rhea said Heyman is going to acknowledge her just like Jey Uso did on RAW, or he’s going to find out who’s stronger – The Bloodline or The Judgment Day. Rhea then authorized Heyman to make that phone call. Heyman then called Reigns.
– A vignette aired for Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.
– Dragon Lee def. Austin Theory (with Grayson Waller)
Cameron Grimes attacked Waller during this match.
– Rey Mysterio said the Doctors won’t clear Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde for the 6-man tag team match against Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits tomorrow night at Fastlane. Rey said he’s going to make a phone call to get their 3rd partner.
– LA Knight def. Jimmy Uso via DQ after Solo Sikoa interfered and attacked Knight
John Cena then ran out to make the save for Knight. The Judgment Day came out and Paul Heyman shook hands with Rhea Ripley, which means Roman Reigns has given Heyman the authorization to have Bloodline join forces with Judgment Day.
Judgment Day was then about to attack Knight & Cena, but Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes came out to even the odds. The babyfaces then took out the heels.
Cena hit the 5 Knuckle Shuffle and the Attitude Adjustment on JD McDonagh, while Cody finished things off with a Cross Rhodes to JD to end the show.
4 Returns On Next Week’s SmackDown
WWE has announced that Roman Reigns and Triple H will return to TV on next week’s SmackDown, and Pretty Deadly will return to in-ring action.
