When Kevin Owens made his debut in NXT, many fans wanted him to move to the WWE main roster and face Brock Lesnar because of Owens’ ruthless style of wrestling.
The two haven’t faced off in a televised singles match, but have crossed paths several times over the past few years.
The Prizefighter is another potential opponent for The Beast Incarnate if WWE doesn’t do Lesnar vs. Velasquez at Royal Rumble. However, the chances of this bout taking place are lower than the others since Owens is currently involved in a program with Seth Rollins and AOP.
Moreover, Owens is one of the favourites to win the Royal Rumble match, so WWE may just use him to build up the Royal Rumble match.
He could go on to face The Beast at WrestleMania 36 though, since he’s arguably the most over babyface on RAW right now.
