Since SummerSlam is in Canada, we can expect several Canadian wrestlers to show up at the event. WWE Hall Of Famer Edge can definitely make a surprise appearance at SummerSlam.
The Rated-R Superstar was last seen on WWE programming in late 2018, at SmackDown 1000, where he hosted The Cutting Edge show, with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as guests.
SummerSlam is a very long event, so we may get to see another episode of The Cutting Edge Show if the former World Heavyweight Champion shows up. If not in the ring, we may get to see him in a short backstage segment.
Edge can also have a mini-segment with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, since they haven’t been on good terms recently. Their Twitter war ended, but we still have to see them face to face one more time. WWE can use this opportunity, and bring them face to face this Sunday.
Edge’s last SummerSlam appearance was back in 2015 in Brooklyn, where he was seen in a backstage segment with The New Day.
