The Baddest Woman On The Planet, Ronda Rousey, hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35 earlier this year, where she lost her RAW Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in a triple threat match. Following her loss, Rousey took time off from WWE to start a family.
Her relaxation period is over, and she’s ready to return to the ring now. Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest superstars in WWE right now. Even though she’s not part of the second biggest pay-per-view of the year, a surprise appearance from her can create a huge buzz among the WWE Universe.
She still hasn’t settled scores with RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Besides, she would want another shot at the title. Lynch has been taking shots at her from time to time, and it might be time she finally responds to The Man.
The opportunity to build up a one on one match (which fans always wanted) with Becky Lynch is finally here. Lynch will be defending her RAW Women’s Title against Rousey’s best friend, Natalya. WWE can go with an angle where The Man keeps beating down Nattie, and Rousey makes the save. Another angle WWE can go with is that Rousey can just cause an interruption during the match, and have a face-off with The Man.
No matter which angle WWE goes with, Rousey returning at the biggest party of the summer will bring the fans on their feets, and WWE will finally be able to set up the much anticipated one on one bout between Rousey and Lynch.
