4. Short Reunion of the Shield
We reported before the Payback PPV that WWE won’t be reuniting the Shield but they would be doing a reunion tease by doing a Triple Powerbomb and that is what exactly happened.
Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns teamed up to powerbomb Randy Orton through the announce table. Then they teased a reunion by all three men smiling but soon Ambrose & Reigns stopped smiling and they made Rollins their next target.
Rollins managed to escape a powerbomb and later ended up retaining the WWE World Title by hitting Orton with a pedigree which was not properly executed.
