2. More Blood on WWE Programming
We have seen a lot of blood on WWE programming in the past 6 months despite the fact that WWE is now PG programming. The reason for this is because the blood wasn’t intentional but accidental.
Both Dolph Ziggler & Luke Harper were busted open in their ladder match at TLC PPV last year, Roman Reigns’ mouth was busted open during the Royal Rumble match. During the WrestleMania 31 main event, Brock Lesnar’s cheek was cut open within the first 15 seconds of the match and towards the end of the match his head was split wide open.
Since then we’ve seen Daniel Bryan being busted open, Sheamus bleeding profusely at King of the Ring and Dolph Ziggler being busted open last night and then receiving stitches after the match.
WWE has been doing the same matches at the PPV events but atleast they involve some brutality and we get to see some color.
