3. A new birth for the Ascension ?
The Ascension was supposed to be the top tag team in the WWE when they made their main roster debut, but things went in a complete opposite direction after the Royal Rumble PPV.
They defeated the New Age Outlaws at the Royal Rumble PPV and it was looking like they would be involved in the tag title picture at WrestleMania 31 but they ended up participating in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
After last night’s victory over the Meta Powers (Macho Mandow & Curtis Axel), we can only hope that the Ascension might be returning to the tag team title hunt at the Elimination Chamber PPV where the tag titles will be defended inside the Chamber for the first time ever.
