3. The Billionaire Ted Skits
As funny as they were, they ended up backfiring, as people actually tuned into WCW Monday Nitro to see if “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage and “Mean” Gene Okerlund were really as old and in bad shape, as the Video Clips suggested.
Not even to mention the lawsuits …
Funny side note: Ted Turner wasn’t even offended by the skits, as many of you would assume he would be, no he actually found them funny.
