4. Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker – Royal Rumble 1996
You just can’t afford to miss a match between two of the all time greats. Taker and Hart had a great main event bout at the Royal Rumble event in 1996 with Bret Hart’s WWF Title on the line.
Undertaker injured his orbital bone near the eye in 1995, so when returned after having a surgey, he was wearing a mask. But this match was the last time he was sporting that mask as his mask was ripped off during the match.
After great back & forth action, we didn’t get a clean finish in the end as “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel interfered and cost Undertaker the match. Although Bret lost the match, he retained the title as titles can’t change hands via DQ.
