3. Triple H vs. Cactus Jack – Royal Rumble 2000 (Street Fight)
This match could possibly be the most brutal Street Fight in WWF history. Mick Foley, in his Cactus Jack persona, delivered yet again. This match involved everything a hardcore wrestling fan could dream of : storyline, emotion & brutality.
The fight spilled into the crowd section as well and a lot of weapons were involved as well. Triple H handcuffed Foley’s hands behind his back just like The Rock did one year back at Royal Rumble 1999. But this time, The Rock interfered and attacked Hunter & a police officer removed Foley’s handcuffs. Cactus would end up spilling a bag of thumbtacks in the ring, which in the end would result in his own demise as Triple H performed a pedigree on Foley on top of the thumbtacks and won the match.
In the end, you could see the thumbtacks stuck in Foley’s head.
Triple H was a bloody mess and was being carried to the back on a stretcher but Cactus stopped him and started assaulting him and hit him in the head with a 2×4 barbed wire.
