The Best In The World vs. The Best In The World. Wouldn’t that make a great rivalry? CM Punk claims that he is The Best In The World, while Shane McMahon won the WWE World Cup in 2018 to earn the title.
Punk has achieved a lot in the pro wrestling world to call himself the best, but he never won a tournament to earn that title. If he wants to prove he’s really the best, then he’ll have to go through Shane O’Mac.
The October 4th premiere episode of SmackDown on FOX saw the firing of Shane McMahon from the WWE when he lost to Kevin Owens in a Ladder match. He’s written off TV but is still working for the promotion. Although McMahon is fired, he could return after a while.
Punk and McMahon would make great rivals as Punk has always disliked the McMahon family. Moreover, they would put on one hell of a contest in the ring as both of them are very swift inside the squared circle.
