The perfect scenario, if it’s really necessary to replace Brock (which would totally suck), would be the return of WCW Legend Bill Goldberg, who’s the only one on this list who could even outdraw Brock Lesnar at this year’s SummerSlam, based on the fact that Goldberg hasn’t wrestled since 2004.
Goldberg keeps himself in shape by training Muay Thai several times a week, among other sports.
Despite only being around for a few years, he’s still relevant and a huge amount of people would buy a ticket, a WWE Network subscription (if they don’t have one already) or the PPV, in order to see this larger than life return.
He said it many times, the ball is with WWE and if they pay him what he asks for, he’d return in a heartbeat.
The only problem, Goldberg wants “Lesnar Money” … which means Vince would have to pay him A LOT of money for just a few dates.
