8. How Did This Week’s Episode Of Raw Do In Terms Of TV Ratings?
This week’s episode of Raw was the go-home episode for the WWE Draft, which took place on Tuesday night on SmackDown Live. The show featured Shane & Stephanie McMahon revealing the General Managers of SmackDown & Raw respectively and the show was headlined by a WWE Championship match between Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins.
The show averaged 3.13 million viewers, which is down from last week’s episode (which drew 3.17 million viewers).
7. Bayley Still Expected To Be A Part Of The Main Roster Soon
As we saw on SmackDown Live, former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley was not picked by either brand during the WWE Draft. The reason behind this is WWE wanting her to stay in NXT until her NXT Takeover: Back To Brooklyn Women’s Title bout against Asuka.
There have been some rumors that Bayley could end up being Sasha Banks’ mystery partner at this Sunday’s Battleground 2016, but that mystery partner could turn out to be either Carmella (who got drafted to SmackDown), Alexa Bliss (who got drafted to SmackDown) or Nia Jax (who got drafted to Raw).
Bayley won the NXT Women’s Championship last year at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn (after defeating Sasha Banks) and now she’s heading into that event again as the #1 contender. This is expected to be Bayley’s final NXT special event.
