Bret Hart became the only Wrestler who defeated Bill Goldberg more than once, as the Hitman managed to beat him 3 times in a row.
Although non of his victories were clean, after various Wrestlers like Sid, The Outsiders & Roddy Piper interfered, making sure that Bret would get the win.
It was in their 2nd match at WCW Starrcade 1999 (December 19, 1999), when Goldberg unfortunately injured The Hitman with a superkick, which caused Bret to retire from the Sport of Professional Wrestling just 3 weeks later.
