5 Surprises That Could Happen Tonight On SmackDown

The Undertaker WWF Champion SmackDown

3. John Cena Returns

There’s no doubt that John Cena is one of the biggest names in the pro wrestling world. After dominating the pro wresting industry for more than a decade, Cena has been making some major moves in his Hollywood career. He recently signed two big deals, which includes Fast And Furious 9 and The Suicide Squad.

SmackDown’s 20th Anniversary and premiere on FOX is on the horizon. When we talk about the legends of the blue brand, we cannot leave the name of John Cena off the list. The Leader Of The Cenation made his debut on SmackDown back in 2002 and also had some of the greatest moments of his career there.

WWE is bringing every big name possible to attend the show. There is no denying that Cena’s star power will bring a lot of attention to it. He’s very popular among the masses and will help the show to become known among the new fans.

He even hinted an appearance on SmackDown in one of his posts on Instagram recently. The clock with two of its hands pointing at the numbers 4 and 10 indicates the date of SmackDown’s debut on FOX. Another hand points at 20, which could be hinting towards the fact that the show is also SmackDown’s 20th anniversary.

Although his appearance isn’t confirmed yet, many fans are expecting him to be there tonight. He can have a segment to promote his upcoming movie. Another possibility is that he can put over another superstar which he’s been doing very frequently for the past couple of years.

Cena may surprise us tonight just like he did at WrestleMania 35 earlier this year when he came out as the Doctor Of Thuganomics to lay out Elias.
