2. The Undisputed Era Costs Matt Riddle The NXT Championship Match
The King Of Bros concluded his rivalry with Killian Dain last week on NXT and not only did he came out as the last man standing, but he also came out as the #1 contender for the NXT Championship.
Adam Cole wasted no time and came out to confront his challenger. However, Riddle had other plans and he locked the NXT Champion in the Fujiwara Armbar to which he immediately tapped out. Riddle retreated when Undisputed Era came out to save their leader.
Earlier this week, WWE announced that Cole was dealing with a wrist fracture following last week’s attack by Riddle. Cole took to Twitter to show he got a arm brace after Riddle’s attack.
It looks like the NXT Champion will have a backup plan in his mind heading into tonight’s match as he doesn’t look full prepared for it. The Undisputed Era will most probably come out to cost “The King Of Bros” his title match and also avenge what he did to their leader last week.
