5 Wrestlers Who Became Internet Sensations

4. Colt Cabana – ‘The Art of Wrestling’

I know we said we wouldn’t include ‘Internet Wrestlers’ but Colt Cabana has to be an exception from that, as he’s THE most famous Internet Wrestler of them all.

Wrestling on the indies for all of his career, except for a brief stint as WWE TV jobber Scotty Goldman from August 2008 to February 2009, Colt Cabana isn’t supposed to be famous whatsoever, yet he is.

He got famous as he was one of the first Wrestlers to do a podcast, back when nobody else did them.

During these podcasts, Cabana interviews people from the past and present of the Professional Wrestling business and always puts a lot of comedy into the shows.

That way he became a popular name on the internet, not just with the typical IWC Smarks who like all the minor names from the indies, but with everybody else aswell.

Everybody has heard the name Colt Cabana before and most fans know who he is, which is very unheard of when it comes to someone who spent his entire career on the indies, except for jobbing on WWE TV for a few months under a different name, that is, but that certainly didn’t get him anywhere.
