2. Kalisto
When Kalisto joined the main roster, there were hopes that he could become a top Superstar for the WWE.
Despite having the ideal appearance and skillset to be the next Rey Mysterio, Kalisto hasn’t been able to connect with the WWE Universe.
He won the United States Championship a couple of times with all reigns ending too soon. Kalisto could’ve been the perfect luchador after Rey Mysterio, but he got lost in the mix. Currently, he’s part of The Lucha House Party, who are used in random matches every week.
While his booking hasn’t exactly put him in a position to maximize his potential, Kalisto’s lack of charisma has affected his status.
The Lucha House Party is mostly used to put over superstars on RAW, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Kalisto asks for his release once his contract is over. He even hinted on Twitter a couple of months ago that he’d be a free agent next year, which reportedly got him in trouble backstage.
