Luke Harper hasn’t been used much by the WWE in 2019. Earlier this year, he went public with his desire for a release, which was promptly turned down by WWE.

Harper returned after several months at Clash Of Champions to reunite with his tag team partner, Erick Rowan.

However, WWE separated them once again during the Draft when Rowan was drafted to RAW while Harper stayed on SmackDown. Although his appearance surprised the WWE Universe at Clash Of Champions due to the reports of his conflict with the company, he still isn’t happy about how he’s being used.

According to Tom Colohue, the former Intercontinental Champion was only brought back to television because WWE needed an extra wrestler to get involved in the conclusion of the storyline between Erick Rowan and Roman Reigns.

Harper was last used at Crown Jewel 2019 PPV in the 20-Man Battle Royal, where he ended up in the final 3 men left in the match. He isn’t seen on SmackDown and is reportedly unhappy with WWE.

It looks like he’ll be used this way until his contract ends with WWE.
