3. New #1 Contender Crowned For The SmackDown Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair defeated Bayley to become a 10-time Women’s Champion at Hell In A Cell. The Hugger cashed in on The Queen at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view earlier this year, just after Flair dethroned Becky Lynch to win the title.
When many thought that the rivalry was over with Flair getting the last laugh, WWE gave Bayley a rematch last week, which she surprisingly won. Not only did The Hugger surprise the WWE Universe with her performance, but she also debuted a new look and entrance. It just added more power to her heel character.
With Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on SmackDown, and Sasha Banks out of action due to an injury, Bayley is the only woman who’ll be carrying the SmackDown Women’s division for now.
Her next challenge may be far away since she’s not going to compete at Crown Jewel and will probably have a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ bout at Survivor Series 2019, but the #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship will be determined tonight.
A 6 Pack Challenge to crown the #1 contender will take place tonight and the following women will compete in it:
– Mandy Rose
– Dana Brooke
– Carmella
– Nikki Cross
– Lacey Evans
– Sonya Deville
Carmella currently looks to be the favorite to win this match.
Also, Bayley will appear on MizTV tonight.
