1. Sami Zayn Costs Roman Reigns The Intercontinental Championship Match

The Big Dog Roman Reigns will be competing in a championship match for the first time in a year tonight on SmackDown. Last time Reigns was in a championship match, it was against Braun Strowman, where he retained the Universal Championship due to Brock Lesnar’s interruption in a Hell in a Cell match.
Tonight, he’ll be going head-to-head for the Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura’s manager, Sami Zayn, expressed disappointment on Twitter that FOX chose Reigns before Zayn and Nakamura.
Reigns was quick to respond and challenged Nakamura to an Intercontinental Championship match, which The Artist accepted.
⁉️Are we talking about same thing?
If the Big Dog wants to play, I ’ll allow him to come into #MyYard with #treats https://t.co/dcttC8xJE2— Shinsuke Nakamura (@ShinsukeN) October 17, 2019
Just like all Nakamura matches, we can expect Sami Zayn to interrupt this one as well. He will either cost Reigns the match or gang up with Nakamura to beat down Reigns.
We could also see this angle leading to Reigns joining Team Hogan as Nakamura is a part of Team Flair. It may further lead to Reigns replacing Seth Rollins as the captain of Team Hogan.
Reigns and Nakamura will be competing in the same ring once again after the Royal Rumble in 2018, where Nakamura eliminated The Big Dog to win the match.
