The blue brand will be heading to the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina for the second last episode of SmackDown before the Royal Rumble 2020 pay-per-view. As the Royal Rumble approaches, the scene on SmackDown keeps getting heated up.

Last week’s show featured the return of Robert Roode, who helped King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler to destroy Roman Reigns and The Usos. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley also took out weeks of frustration on Lacey Evans, while Braun Strowman defeated Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a one-on-one encounter. A lot happened last week including John Morrison’s reunion with The Miz.

Tonight’s show will most likely kick off with a tribute to the late WWE Hall Of Famer Rocky Johnson, who sadly passed away this past Wednesday at the age of 75.

The match-card for tonight’s show looks stacked as Roman Reigns will face Robert Roode in a Tables match, while Sasha Banks and Lacey Evans will also collide in a long awaited battle. In addition, John Morrison will compete in a WWE ring for the first time in 9 years. Kane will also be there for tonight’s show.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at 6 things that might happen on SmackDown tonight.

Braun Strowman has his sights set on Shinsuke Nakamura’s Intercontinental Championship. With every week passing, Strowman’s demand for a Title match against The Artist keeps solidifying.

A few weeks ago on SmackDown, he pinned Nakamura in a 6-Man Tag Team match to solidify his claim. Last week, he went head-to-head with Nakamura in a singles match and successfully defeated him.

Nakamura will be looking for a rematch against The Monster Among Men to restore his lost prestige. There’s a possibility that their next encounter will be a Title match, which will most likely take place at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in just a week from Sunday.
