6. Doug Furnas and Philip LaFon
While previously touring the world under their Original Tag Team name “The Can-Am Express”, on WWF TV they were mostly just referred to as Doug Furnas and Philip LaFon.
Doug Furnas was a world record Powerlifter and Phil LaFon (Dan Kroffat) was a great technical Wrestler. The perfect combination so it seems? Well not in this case.
They debuted on WWF TV in late 1996 but failed to make an impact and impress anyone in the World Wrestling Federation, so without getting any push whatsoever, they were sent back to ECW in late 1997.
