5. The New Day Becomes The Best Tag Team In The World
At Crown Jewel, none of the Tag Team Championships will be defended. However, WWE will be holding the largest Tag Team Turmoil match in which teams from both RAW and SmackDown will compete to win the World Cup and earn the title of the Best Tag Team In The World.
The New Day, RAW Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival, The OC, Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler and The B-Team will be fighting each other to become the “Best In The World”.
It looks like WWE will hand the win to the team which is not carrying any Tag Team Titles right now so they can build a storyline using the win to push them.
There’s a possibility that The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E) will be the one to win this Tag Team Turmoil Match since Vince McMahon is planning to turn them heel soon. The “Best Tag Team In The World” gimmick will work with a heel team just like it worked with Shane McMahon as a heel, so New Day might earn the title to turn heel.
