3. Samoa Joe
The Samoan Submission Machine had a normal 2019, spending most of the year working the mid-card. He had a feud against Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, which he lost miserably.
He participated in the King Of The Ring tournament after which he was forced to be out of action due to a broken thumb. Joe made his return to action at the end of 2019, and has been on fire since then.
The current pairing of Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe is arguably the hottest babyface team in WWE. If Joe is able to gain momentum in this feud against the team of Seth Rollins, AOP and Buddy Murphy, he may have big things waiting for him this year.
WWE could even surprise us by making Joe win the Royal Rumble match to challenge his old rival, Brock Lesnar, for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36.
