As announced by WWE, Daniel Bryan’s second shot at the Universal Championship will be at Royal Rumble 2020 this Sunday.
Although Bryan’s win looks almost impossible, WWE could pull a shocker and give Bryan the win at Royal Rumble. He’s arguably the only wrestler who has been getting the most offense against The Fiend in all of his rivalries.
Also, since it’s a strap match, The Fiend doesn’t need to get pinned to lose the match (as the first person to touch all 4 ring corners wins the match).
In addition, Wyatt is one of the five favourite wrestlers to win the Royal Rumble match, according to the betting odds.
WWE could pull another shocker in the same night by bringing Wyatt’s dual personality into play, and make Wyatt win the Royal Rumble match to challenge Bryan for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 36.
