7 Wrestlers Who Won’t Compete At WWE Crown Jewel 2019

Triple H WWE Crown Jewel 2019

5. Daniel Bryan

Roman Reigns Daniel Bryan Hand Shake WWE SmackDown 2019

Daniel Bryan has been on a roll since turning heel and then winning the WWE Championship from AJ Styles. 2019 has been a great year for Bryan so far. Although he lost the WWE Championship to Kofi Kingston at WrestleMania 35 in April, he won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship with Rowan soon after that.

Bryan brought another character change at the end of summer when he was betrayed by Erick Rowan, who formed an alliance with Luke Harper. He turned face and formed a short alliance with Roman Reigns to silence Rowan and Harper at Hell In A Cell.

This past Friday night on SmackDown, Bryan came out to make the save for Roman Reigns when he was being beaten by Shinsuke Nakamura and King Corbin.

He’s rumored to compete at Survior Series next month. However, he hasn’t been announced for Crown Jewel this month. Bryan was scheduled to compete at Crown Jewel last year, but he refused to go to Saudi Arabia due to the political problems that were going on in the country during that time.

There’s a possibility that he has once again refused to go there, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. His last appearance in Saudi Arabia was at The Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018, where he had a remarkable performance in the 50-Man Royal Rumble.

Bryan not being on the match-card of one of the biggest events of the year is a huge surprise for the WWE Universe. Just a few weeks ago, he put on a hell of a show alongside Roman Reigns in a tornado team match at Hell In A Cell, and now he’s not even scheduled to compete at the next event.
