• 90,000 Tickets For WrestleMania 39 Sold On The Very First Day – More Than Any WWE Event Ever

As we reported earlier, WWE has already sold 100,000 tickets combined for both nights of WrestleMania 39, after tickets went on sale last week.

During today’s Q2 earnings call, Triple H revealed that 90,000 tickets were sold on the very first day the tickets went on sale, more than any event in WWF/E history.

This is also a 42% increase from the first day ticket sales of WrestleMania 38.

Below is what The Game said:

“In nearly 40 years, we have never sold that many WrestleMania tickets that fast. With those record numbers, we are tracking toward sell-outs with passionate fans at SoFi Stadium for both nights.”

WrestleMania 39 will take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on April 1 & 2, 2023.

On this day in 1986, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.

This was the original third nationally syndicated show that later became known as “WWF Wrestling Spotlight” after the August 30, 1986 episode.

NOT to be confused with the famous “WWF Superstars of Wrestling” TV show, that eventually took over WWF Championship Wrestling in September 1986 and ran until 1997, before becoming a recap/highlights show that ran till 2001.
