• AJ Lee & NXT Call-Up To Compete In WarGames Match At Survivor Series
WWE will head to Petco Park in San Diego, California, for Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 next month. It will be the last Premium Live Event of the year.
The Wrestling Observer has reported the names of the wrestlers on the two teams that will participate in this year’s Women’s WarGames Match.
AJ Lee will compete in her first ever WarGames Match, where she will team up with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Their opponents will be Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and NXT’s Lash Legend.
It is unknown yet if Legend will get a main roster call-up before Survivor Series or if she will make a one-off appearance at the Premium Live Event.

• Seth Rollins’ Opponent For World Title On Saturday Night’s Main Event, 2 More Matches Revealed
The second last Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2025 will take place on November 1 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Seth Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk in the main event of the show.
It seems like The Visionary will continue his feud with The Best In The World after losing to Punk and his wife AJ Lee in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Wrestlepalooza.
At Crown Jewel, Rollins will battle Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the Men’s Crown Jewel Title.
The Wrestling Observer is also reporting that WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton will defend her title against Jade Cargill at the event.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu to determine Cody Rhodes’ challenger at Survivor Series: WarGames is also planned for the event.
• 10 More Names Released From WWE Today
WWE has parted ways with several names this week. Former Women’s ID Champion Kylie Rae and Zayda Steel were two wrestlers who announced their departure recently.
Bodyslam+ and Fightful Select are reporting that the latest name to be released is former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee, who signed with WWE in late 2020.
Another wrestler who was let go today is Jin Tala. She started her pro wrestling career in 2024 and was mainly working on WWE EVOLVE.
Two more names who were a part of EVOLVE and were let go are Haze Jameson and Summer Sorrell. The company also let go Brayden “BJ” Ray, who was working on WWE LFG.

Turner (who mainly worked on EVOLVE) and Knox (who was working in NXT) were released by WWE, while Zakher’s WWE ID contract expired and was not renewed.
