Recent reports have shed light on the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Jack Perry, also known as Jungle Boy, and his future with All Elite Wrestling.

Contrary to previous claims, Perry disputes allegations of continuous apologies or requests for forgiveness following the controversial incident with CM Punk at All In 2023. Furthermore, there seems to be no concrete plan for his return to the AEW roster.

According to F4WOnline, Perry refutes the notion that he repeatedly apologized or sought forgiveness post-incident. He also denies the existence of any confirmed plans for his comeback to AEW.

Perry went two months without hearing from AEW CEO Tony Khan after the incident at All In. Despite this silence, Perry claims he did not reach out first to apologize, standing firm on his stance.

Instead, it was reported that Khan’s legal team initiated an in-person meeting ahead of AEW Full Gear 2023, during which potential return plans were discussed. However, these plans were abandoned following CM Punk’s return to WWE, altering the trajectory of AEW’s roster dynamics.

The report further elaborates that Perry expressed a desire to participate at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 but encountered logistical hurdles preventing his involvement. Subsequently, he collaborated with Tony Khan and Rocky Romero to organize his current stint with NJPW.

Despite Perry’s ongoing contractual ties with AEW, his request for release was reportedly denied, leaving his status in limbo. The report suggests that there are currently no concrete plans for his AEW return, and communication between Perry and Khan has dwindled significantly, with months passing without contact.

Moreover, Perry has allegedly not sought approval from Khan regarding his activities and storylines in NJPW.

Addressing concerns about Perry’s future with AEW, Khan recently hinted at a wait-and-see approach, emphasizing his appreciation for Perry’s contributions to NJPW.

As the situation continues to unfold, fans are left speculating about Jungle Boy’s next move and whether he will find his way back to the AEW ring anytime soon.
