• AEW Forced To Reveal Their Big All Out Surprise

As we noted before, the original co-main event of AEW’s upcoming All Out PPV got cancelled. Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega will no longer take place due to Moxley’s elbow injury.

Moxley posted the following about this on Twitter:

“I’m absolutely gutted to have to deliver this news but I’d rather it come directly from me. In a nightmare scenario, a serious case of MRSA has returned in my elbow. The timing couldn’t be worse. In this circumstance I am forced to pull out of the fight 8/31 vs Omega at All Out .

I apologize to all involved, most importantly the fans. I am incredibly frustrated and pi$$ed off. I’ll have surgery this week to remove the bursa sac in my elbow and be done with it for good. Should be a quick recovery so I will be 100% for AEW Wednesday nights on TNT.

Still, I expect All Out to be an amazing ppv and hope all the fans out there looking for an alternative tune in. You will be blown away by AEW and be excited to be a wrestling fan. I’m looking forward to watching as a fan myself.

This f***ing sucks.”

AEW then announced the new co-main event of All Out – Kenny Omega vs. PAC (f.k.a Neville in WWE).

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, PAC was originally scheduled to make a surprise appearance at All Out:

“I’m pretty sure that Pac was gonna be on that show doing a surprise run-in, so it does hurt that surprise element. I don’t know if that was going to be the only surprise, but I was under the impression that was going to be the big surprise — him.

So, it kinda hurts that because you don’t have the big surprise, but look you get an injury, you gotta do what you do. I think it’s a pretty suitable replacement.”
