ECW Hardcore Legend New Jack passed away from a heart attack on May 14th 2021, a little over a year after his season 2 episode of VICE’s ‘Dark Side of the Ring’ titled ‘The Life and Crimes of New Jack’, was released.

AEW Manager Stokely Hathaway (fka Malcolm Bivens in NXT) took to Twitter and – in a very disturbing Tweet – stated that he wishes New Jack was still alive so he could stab AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy.

Here’s what he tweeted:

“I wish New Jack was still living. He could’ve stabbed Orange Cassidy in the forehead with a fork on Rampage or something for me. Real sh*t. RIP.”

New Jack wrestled for Jim Cornette’s Smoky Mountain Wrestling between 1994 & 1995 but he’s mostly remembered for his time in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1995 to 2001.

Prior to his passing, the legendary Hardcore Wrestler said on the PTM podcast – which turned out to be his final interview – that long-time WWF/WWE promoter Vince McMahon thought of him as the devil.

Here’s what New Jack said in 2021:

“Vince McMahon told Cornette that I was the devil. He told Cornette that I was the devil and he would never hire me because I was the devil. I was satan! But, he offered me a deal.

What they wanted to do was they wanted to take my name, they wanted me to give them the rights to my name, and this is the sh*t that I created, you know what I’m saying? I made New Jack; Vince didn’t make sh*t. I made New Jack; you know what I mean?

Yes. Couldn’t do it, wasn’t going to do it. I don’t know what they had in store, but I wasn’t going to go for that bullsh*t, you know what I mean. I wasn’t doing it.”
