• AEW Was Planning To Bring In Former NXT Champion Earlier This Month

AEW has a huge roster right now, because of Tony Khan signing so many wrestlers after their release from WWE.

There’s a big shortage of TV time for these wrestlers, but more new wrestlers keep on coming in.

Not all new wrestlers coming to AEW are signed to a contract though. Some of them only make one-off appearances.

Last week, former WWE wrestlers John Morrison (as Johnny Elite) and Killian Dain (as Big Damo) made their AEW debuts, on Dynamite & Rampage respectively.

However, these were just one-off appearances. Both of them lost their matches.

According to Fightful Select, AEW had plans to bring in former NXT Champion Karrion Kross (aka Killer Kross) earlier this month, but they couldn’t reach a deal.

UPDATE: Reason Behind Karrion Kross Turning Down AEW Debut Offer

Speaking of Kross, he will be working the 1st ever PPV event of Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES), which is a new promotion started by former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Authors Of Pain (now known as Legion Of Pain).

This event will take place on June 4th at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England.

He will face Samuray Del Sol (Kalisto) and Jonah (Bronson Reed) in a Triple Threat Match at this event.
