• AEW Wrestler Reacts To Jon Jones Announcing That He Will Face Him

As we reported earlier, former 2-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones announced on Twitter that he will face AEW wrestler & Bellator MMA Fighter Jake Hager (fka Jack Swagger in WWE) in a grappling match on December 9.

Jones tweeted the following about it:

“Breaking News!! I’m excited to announce I’ll be competing for the number one grappling organization in the world, Fury Grappling!

December 9th I’ll be in New Jersey competing against WWE superstar and undefeated Bellator heavyweight Jack Swagger.”

A fan then pointed out how Hager works in All Elite Wrestling now, and not WWE. Jones then replied:

“Thanks, yeah I just found out today. Don’t really know much about him yet.”

Hager replied the following to Jones:

“First of all it’s AEW and undefeated Bellator MMA heavyweight Jake Hager, secondly no terms have been discussed or contract signed. We can talk if terms are right.”

After reading what Hager had to say, Jones replied:

“Come on people let’s get Jake to 1 million followers, sorry I didn’t know who you were. Lol.”

Jones was recently inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame (Fight Wing) for his UFC 165 fight against Alexander Gustafsson.

Jones, who has a record of 26-1-1, is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. He has never been defeated. His only loss was due to Disqualification, because he destroyed his opponent with illegal elbow strikes.

He’s currently preparing to have his 1st ever fight in the UFC’s Heavyweight division.
