• Alberto Del Rio Will Make His UFC Debut This Saturday

According to Lucha Libre Online, former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio will make his UFC debut as a Spanish Commentator this Saturday.

He will be calling the UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Aspinall event, which will take place at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Del Rio’s current deal with UFC is short-term, but both sides are interested in a long-term partnership.

Alberto is also scheduled to be on Commentary for an upcoming Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship event.

Apart from being a Professional Wrestler and a Commentator, Del Rio is also a former MMA fighter.

His MMA record is 9-6. His first fight took place in 2001 and the last one in 2019.

In his last fight, he lost to UFC Hall Of Famer & former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz via Submission.

Del Rio has noted in multiple interviews that he wants to return to WWE, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen, because of his controversial history with WWE Diva Paige and him badmouthing the company after leaving.
