4. Sid Justice
After being the Special Guest Referee in the Main Event of WWF SummerSlam 1991, Sid Justice was clearly “The Next Big Thing” and that’s how he was going to be booked from that point onwards.
In August & September of 1991, he faced The Undertaker on 10 untelevised House Shows, including 6 Casket Matches and 1 ‘King of the Ring’ Quarter Final Match (KOTR has been an annual House Show Event before becoming a PPV Event in 1993).
Sid Justice won all 6 Casket Matches plus 3 regular matches, while the King of the Ring Quarter Final Match ended in a ‘Double DQ’.
Just a few days after their House Show run, both faced each other in a match airing on ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’, which resulted in a ‘No Contest’.
Sid would again beat the Undertaker a few months later, on February 09, 1992 during an untelevised House Show at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto Ontario, Canada, this time via DQ.
During the ‘WWF European Rampage Again’ Tour in April of 1992, both would face each other 8 more times, with 7 Double Countouts and the last one being a Count Out Victory for Sid.
They would end up wrestling and feuding against each other plenty more times over the years.
