WWE has been trying to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania for the last year few years, but Rock’s schedule and the COVID-19 pandemic have prevented that from happening.

WrestleMania 39, also known as WrestleMania Hollywood, could be the perfect place to book the final match of Hollywood Megastar Dwayne Johnson.

This match was teased on an episode of Young Rock earlier this year, when a scene from 1996 was shown, where The Rock and his family were watching the Royal Rumble and that’s when a young Roman tried to put Rock in a headlock and wanted to wrestle him.

Rock said the world is not ready and such a big match can only happen at WrestleMania.

Reigns also wanted someone to Samoan Drop him, but no one paid attention to his wish and he then looked at the camera and said “Acknowledge Me!”.

You can watch it below:

This match was teased once again on the latest episode of Young Rock, when Dwayne Johnson and his co-star Randall Park were seen in a room that contains titles and trophies won by The Rock during his professional wrestling days, that also included a Universal Championship title belt, which to this date The Rock has never won.

This has begun speculation that he might actually win it from Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania. The entire Young Rock series is set in a fictive future of the year 2032, where Dwayne Johnson was running as a candidate in the United States presidential election and lost.
