• Another Return Confirmed For Royal Rumble 2026
According to PWInsider, Brock Lesnar will return to WWE programming for this Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2026 PLE in Saudi Arabia. The Beast is set to enter the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He missed the Rumble matches in 2024 and 2025 due to the Janel Grant lawsuit.
It should be noted that LA Knight is also scheduled to return from his hiatus at the Royal Rumble. WWE already announced Roman Reigns’ return this past Friday on SmackDown. Below are the confirmed entrants for the Men’s Royal Rumble match so far:

• Absent WWE Star Is At The Site Of Tonight’s RAW
On the November 21, 2025, episode of SmackDown, Rusev lost to Jey Uso in John Cena’s “The Last Time Is Now” tournament. Rusev hasn’t appeared on RAW or SmackDown after that loss. He has only worked one match since then, which was against Otis on the December 1, 2025, edition of WWE Main Event, where he picked up a win.
According to PWInsider, Rusev’s absence isn’t due to injury or backstage heat. Instead, he’s being kept on the shelf for the same reason as The Street Profits: WWE doesn’t want to waste high-value talent when they don’t have a marquee storyline ready for them.
The internal philosophy is that by keeping Rusev off-screen, he will feel fresh and important the moment he returns, rather than being seen as an underutilized veteran spinning his wheels.
It’s possible that Rusev returns on tonight’s RAW in Toronto, as he noted on X that he’s in Toronto right now.
His wife, Lana aka CJ Perry, tweeted: “Please do a snow selfie from #Montreal @ToBeMiro !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Rusev replied: “I’m in Toronto !!”
• Replacement Announced For Tonight’s RAW
WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor revealed that her flight to Canada was canceled, leading to Lilian Garcia stepping in to handle ring announcing duties for tonight’s RAW in Toronto. Garcia was already in Montreal for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Alicia wrote: “Currently at the airport with all canceled flights to Canada tagging in sister LIL for the fill soo…”
