WWE has already begun planning the match-card for NXT Takeover: Dallas and Finn Balor is expected to defend his NXT Title against Baron Corbin or Sami Zayn.
Also, Dash & Dawson are expected to defend their NXT Tag Team Titles against Jason Jordan & Chad Gable.
5. J Sports Drops Live Edition of WWE Raw
WWE Raw used to air live in its entirety on Tuesday mornings in Japan, but that’s not going to happen any longer.
J Sports Network has now dropped the live edition of WWE Raw and will be replacing it with a shorter version of Raw (as seen on Hulu) and this will air on Thursday mornings at 10 am. The change begins from January 7, 2016.
Talking of Japan, the WWE Network is scheduled to launch in the country on January 5, 2016.
4. Alex Riley Says He Plans To “Go For It” When He Returns
During a recent interview with “The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast”, Alex Riley talked about how he plans to “go for it” when he returns. Below is what he said:
“When I come back, I promise you, I’m going for it. Now whether I become WWE World Heavyweight Champion or I’m in NXT for the next three years, regardless of where I am or where I’m placed, I’m swinging for the fence, so it’s going to make a loud noise and I’m sure you guys are going to hear it, but I have no more, I don’t want to say I have no more fear because I certainly fear things, but very little. Very little at this point.”
